How does anaerobic respiration occur in yeast ?

Answers

Answer 1
When there isn't enough oxygen for Oxidative Phosphorylation to occur, anaerobic respiration occurs. You can't produce ATP across the inner of the mitochondrial membrane or in the Krebs cycle if you don't have Oxidative Phosphorylation. As a result, the yeast employs anaerobic respiration to keep Glycolysis running, resulting in 4 ATP molecules (Net: 2) each Glucose molecule that is converted to Pyruvate.

Allowing NADH to lose hydrogen allows it to be converted to NAD, which can then be utilized to oxidize glucose to pyruvate, which produces ATP, and so on. This is best illustrated in a diagram, in my opinion.

There are many reasons to examine human cells and tissues under the microscope. Medical and biological research is underpinned by knowledge of the normal structure and function of cells and tissues and the organs and structures that they make up. In the normal healthy state, the cells and other tissue elements are arranged in regular, recognizable patterns. Changes induced by a wide range of chemical and physical influences are reflected by alterations in the structure at a microscopic level, and many diseases are characterized by typical structural and chemical abnormalities that differ from the normal state. Identifying these changes and linking them to particular diseases is the basis of histopathology and cytopathology, important specializations of modern medicine. Microscopy plays an important part in haematology (the study of blood), microbiology (the study of microorganisms including parasites and viruses), and more broadly in the areas of biology, zoology, and botany. In all these disciplines, specimens are examined under a microscope.

Temperture is a way to measure the warm or coldness of a object. But it is a manifestation of heat energy. "is a physical quantity that expresses the degree of hotness or coldness of a substance. It is the manifestation of thermal energy, present in all matter, which is the source of the occurrence of heat, a flow of energy, when a body is in contact with another that is colder or hotter.. Temperature is measured with a thermometer."

A 7.50g mass of compound A was added to 35.0g of water and it is found that the freezing point has decreased by 3.14°C. What is the molar mass of A?

Answers

This problem is providing us with the mass of an unknown compound, the mass of water it was added in and the change (decrease) in the freezing point the solution exhibited. Thus, the problem requires the molar mass of the compound, and at the end, the result turns out to be 126.7 g/mol, according to:

Freezing point depression:

In chemistry, colligative properties are used to understand how the properties of a solvent change as a solute is added, forming a solution. In this case, we can use the following formula, since the solute decreased water's freezing point:

[tex]\Delta T_m=-m*Kf[/tex]

Where the molality is the first variable for us to calculate given the other two:

[tex]m=\frac{-3.14\°C}{-1.86\°C/m} =1.69m[/tex]

Thus, since this molality is in moles of solute per kilograms of solvent (water), one can find the former by multiplying the 35.0 g of water, but in kilograms:

[tex]n=\frac{1.69mol}{kg} *35.0g*\frac{1kg}{1000g} =0.0591mol[/tex]

Finally, we compute the molar mass as required:

[tex]M=\frac{7.50g}{0.0591mol}\\ \\M=126.9g/mol[/tex]

As we assumed this solute is nonionizing.

Explain why it is advantageous that water does not evaporate quickly on earth

PLEASE HELP!!

Answers

Answer:

When the humidity is 100 percent, the air is saturated with water. Air pressure also affects evaporation. If air pressure is high on the surface of a body of water, then the water will not evaporate easily. The pressure pushing down on the water makes it difficult for water to escape into the atmosphere as vapor.

Explanation:

It is advantageous that water does not evaporate quickly on Earth because the soil and Earth water will be conserved.

What is evaporation?

Evaporation is a process by which a liquid is converted to the gaseous state.

The water on the Earth surface in liquid form is evaporated with an increase in heat.

However, it is advantageous that water does not evaporate quickly on Earth because the water on the Earth surface will be conserved i.e. available for future use.

Identify the double displacement reaction. 3Pb 2h 3PO 4 ⟶ 3H 2 Pb 3(PO 4) 2 2NO 2 ⟶ 2O 2 N 2 2NaBr Ca(OH) 2 ⟶ CaBr 2 2NaOH 2NH 3 H 2SO 4 ⟶ (NH 4) 2SO 4.

Answers

Reaction 3 is the double displacement reaction.

Double displacement reaction occurs when the negatively and the positively charged ions of the compounds interchange their position when the new compound in the product is formed.

Which is a double displacement reaction?

In the first reaction, the element lead (Pb) is not an ion and no exchange of the cations or the anions occurs hence it is not a double displacement reaction.

In the second reaction, one compound is getting split into two new compounds and is a decomposition reaction.

In the third reaction,  [tex]\rm Br^{-}[/tex] in [tex]\rm 2NaBr[/tex] and [tex]\rm (OH)_{2}[/tex] in [tex]\rm Ca(OH)_{2}[/tex] are anions and cations and exchanges their places to produce two new compounds  [tex]\rm CaBr_{2} + 2NaOH.[/tex]

In the fourth reaction, a single compound is generated as the result of the combination reaction and hence, it is not the double displacement reaction.

Therefore, [tex]\rm 2NaBr + Ca(OH)_{2} \rightarrow CaBr_{2} + 2NaOH[/tex] is the double displacement reaction.
