Describe two alternatives to the traditional nine-month school year with a long summer
vacation

Answers

There are multiple alternatives. One, for example, is a year-round school. They have about three weeks in school, and 2 weeks off school all year. They don't have a long summer vacation like the traditional nine-month school year. There are also schools that have school in the summer and winter. These schools give their students fall and spring off, as their break.

Essay about your Christmas break
Don't copy from a website.

Answers

My Christmas break started off Amazing! Every year when it's Christmas I go and I sleep over with my cousins and when I mean cousins, their were about 12 of them over their, the first thing I did when I was getting ready to go over their I took all my devices my laptop my iPad ext. Because I knew all my cousins had their electronics and devices and we can play games. I also took my clothes as well because it's a sleep over of course. I've never think I'd be so excited before because since of the pandemic mostly everybody is staying home and there's barely anything you can even do outside.

So, going to my aunt's house with my cousins was at-least something fun and better to do instead of staying indoors all day long on my phone.  Time passes, and I'm here at my aunts house! I dashed through the car door ran up to the door and rang the bell. My aunt opened the door greeted me, and there I saw all my cousins in the living room. I rushed to them with the devices in my bag moving up and down.

We All sat on the floor in the living room and came up with idea's of what we should do. I told them lets play hide and seek tag, but not in the house because theirs 13 of us and we'd have no place to hide. They all agreed with me since they had no idea what to do at all, We did this game called "the sky is blue so god loves you" Basically a game where we all put our feet in and someone repeatedly points at our foot and if our finger points at that persons shoe their it! We all chose  who should point the finger at our shoe. They said they needed someone to do it correctly and my cousin named "Aleena" Said she'd volunteer.

The time goes by and two seekers were their to find us. We all split up and went to our back yard, since our backyard is huge we'd be able to find our own hiding places.  Cheeky me, Went near the front yard and thought confidently no one would find me. I sat there for about 10 minute's and I heard foot steps I hold my breathe so hard because I didn't want to get caught. Luckily it was my other cousin running close to the front yard and saw me, and quickly ran to my direction.

I  told him that you could've got me caught and what you did was very risky. He told me he was sorry and said he'd move and he went  out of the front gate. the time was getting really late as I was sitting their for about 18 minutes, it was getting late each second and thought to myself "When will they find me?" I decided I was sitting their to long, so I stood up and gave up and came out of the open. There one of my cousins who spot me that was it told me I was the last one and you could've won. I told her that it was alright anyways and I was getting bored of sitting their. Plus, it was getting cold since the season we were in is the winter.

We went inside, And we all took our bath's. And that was when we were going to start using our electronics. I took out mine and we all started playing games. And some of my other cousins were watching TV. It was getting very late. and I started dosing off. Soon enough I fell as-sleep. The next day hit, I woke up brushed my teeth did all the casual things mostly everybody would do. And made myself cereal. unfortunately, today was the day I finally had to go. I felt kinda sad but felt good because At-least I did something rather then doing nothing at home. Plus, it really wasn't the end of the world since i'll be doing this next year anyways!

Hello! I hoped you like this. This isn't really true I did none of this. Just made it up out of my head but hoped this helped

Read this part of a story about a girl on a quest to find a mythical creature:

Helena crept slowly along the rocky ledge. The ground was hundreds of feet below her, but she kept going forward. Suddenly, there was a terrible screech. She looked up to see a giant, sharp-toothed bird diving toward her. Without pausing to think, she threw her walking stick toward the enormous bird and jumped forward to wedge herself into a little crevice in the cliff face. The bird screeched again and dove toward her; she began to throw rocks at it until it finally gave up and flew away.

Which details from the story tell you about its setting?

pueblo as it is used in "A Celebration of Grandfathers. Write your definition of
"pueblo" here and tell how you found it.

Answers

Answer:

Pueblo- spanish for people or town

Explanation:

in spanish pueblo essentially means "town" or "people" therefore our definition of pueblo would be people or town.

In the context of "A Celebration of Grandfathers," the word "pueblo" is likely used to refer to a Native American village or community.

I arrived at this definition by considering the Latin root "Populus," which means "people." Since the story discusses the author's connection to his ancestral heritage and the wisdom of his grandfather, it suggests a cultural and communal setting.

Additionally, the term "pueblo" is commonly used in English to specifically refer to Native American communities, particularly those of the Southwestern United States.

Therefore, in this context, "pueblo" most likely signifies a Native American village or community where people come together, preserving their traditions and values.
